Detail
Setup is in a 15L biorb halo tank with built in led lighting and air pump. Tank is filled to 6L to keep plants partially submerged.
- Plants are placed on top 1inch of tropica plant growth substrate and then embedded into biorb ceramic media.
- I add 1ml of api CO2 booster to the water daily and 0.5ml tropica fertilzer weekly.
- I try to keep the air pump on most of the time to stop the water going stagnant but sometimes I turn it off at night if it gets too noisy.
- The terraium is placed in a low light corner of the room to avoid alage, most of the plants have low lighting needs but the leds provide some lighting.
- Plants in set up are java fern, anubias barteri, lobelia cardinalis and eleocharis acicularis.
